My name is Dragos Varnav. By profession I'm a medical electronics engineer, but photography has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. It started in high school, where I was known as “the class photographer” — borrowing my father's Zenit ET with its 50mm lens, a combination that punched well above its weight for its time. I've always loved seeing the world from behind the lens — the details and fleeting moments that otherwise pass by unnoticed. Over the years I experimented with different styles of photography, but I always felt most at home in nature: just me, my camera, and whatever the light gave me.
