Through my lens
A ball of feathers on a stick
Long-tailed Tits come through the trees in small, chattering family groups, never still for long, each one a round little body with a tail even longer than the rest of it.
On cold nights they roost pressed side by side along a branch. Their nest is a soft, stretchy pouch of moss and lichen held together with cobweb, lined with hundreds of small feathers.
